Center Point is a city and a former census-designated place (CDP) in northeastern Jefferson County, Alabama, United States. It is part of the Birmingham metropolitan area. At the 2000 census the population was 22,784. However, after its incorporation in 2002, the city’s boundaries are much smaller than those of the CDP.
